CONGRATULATIONS TO NICOLE FRANZEL
WINNER OF BIG BROTHER 18!
What a finale! Up until Julie revealed the jurors votes, fans had no idea if Paul or Nicole were going to win Big Brother, fans had their guesses as to who might vote for who, and as suspected there may or may not have been a vote or two casted on houseguest likability or lack of, or in Big Brother terms, bitterness.
FINAL HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD ‘SCALES OF JUST US’
- QUESTION 1: BOTH RIGHT
- QUESTION 2: BOTH WRONG
- QUESTION 3: BOTH WRONG
- QUESTION 4: PAUL RIGHT TAKES LEAD 2-1
- QUESTION 5: BOTH WRONG
- QUESTION 6: PAUL RIGHT 3-1
- QUESTION 7: NICOLE RIGHT 3-2
- QUESTION 8: PAUL RIGHT AND WINS THE FINAL HOH!
Paul wins the final head of household and believes he can win against either Nicole or James, but chooses to evict James because he thinks he is undeserving of even the 50k second prize, he just doesn’t think James did anything but throw competitions all throughout the season.
Had Paul chosen to take James to the final two we likely would have witnessed a much different outcome..
THE JURORS QUESTIONS
I believe this may have been where Pauls fate was sealed. During the backyard interviews Julie Chen said Paul’s answers were to brief and he had no remorse.
When Paul was questioned he didn’t take a lot of time to explain, nor apologize for any of his actions throughout the season. Let’s recall, Paul offended several houseguests, called people out, name calling, etc. That makes for great feeds, the fans seem to love it, but often houseguests don’t forget, and jury management is crucial to winning Big Brother, even if you don’t enjoy a houseguest’s company, you have to pretend you do, mend fences if needed, give a little extra ‘friendship’.
In my opinion, both Paul and Nicole gave great speeches, both unique to themselves, honest and true..
Paul says, he worked his ass off, he didn’t hide behind the scenes, put his heart into this game..
Nicole says, I gave 100, 1000 percent, constantly working day in day out, tried to make being called a snake into a positive, I gave it my all..
JURORS CAST THEIR VOTES
At this point fans have no idea who is going to take home that 500k, they have their favorites and honestly the way Da’Vonne was excited that Paul was in the final two, I thought for sure I knew who she was casting her vote for……….
- James votes for Paul
- Corey votes for Nicole
- Victor votes for Paul
- Natalie votes for Nicole
- Michelle votes for Paul
- Paulie votes for Nicole
- Bridgette votes for Paul
- Zakiyah votes for Nicole
- Da’Vonne votes for Nicole
…AND THE WINNER IS, NICOLE FRANZEL!
BIG BROTHER HISTORY
Julie Chen informs the cast and America that Nicole is the first female in Big Brother history to ever win against a male in final two!
Congratulations Nicole for making Big Brother history!
AMERICA’S FAVORITE PLAYER
The three houseguests with the most votes for America’s Favorite Player came down to James, Natalie and Victor.
…and the winner is Victor! Victor also made Big Brother history as the first houseguest ever to compete his way back into the house not once, not twice, but three times, he was also the first houseguest ever evicted three times. Victor and Paul were ‘bros’ from the beginning, entertaining the fans throughout the season. Congratulations Victor, a title well earned this season!
Many fans say Nicole slept her way through the game, I would have to disagree, although that strategy has worked well throughout past seasons. This was Nicole’s second season competing, she wanted to be sure not to fall into the same pitfalls she fell into her first season. Originally she vowed not to get caught up in a showmance, but alas she did. She adapted and used that showmance as part of her strategy, Corey was quiet, likable, and was close to many other strong players. Nicole might have spent a lot of her season in that Tokyo room sitting in bed, leaning against that wall, or cuddling Corey, but she was gaming a good portion of that time, even to the extent that Corey would say, okay, okay, lets take a break. Nicole was always planning their next best move, and if they weren’t in danger of nomination or eviction, they laid low and didn’t rock the boat, this strategy got this showmance all the way to the final 4, where she was finally nominated for the first time in the season, impressive!
Both Nicole and Paul played great games, both earning their way to final two, one was loud, one was quiet, one was swaggering, one was sneaky, both adapted, both won competitions when needed, two very different individuals, two very different strategies, both good players and people!
CONGRATULATIONS NICOLE FRANZEL, GAME WELL PLAYED!
